Panellists: 

  • HaZ Dulull - HaZimation and Content Creator / influencer at BEYOND THE PIXELS. HaZ Dulull started off his career in early video games (Playstation 1), which then led into a visual effects career before transitioning into directing & producing feature films.
    HaZ co-founded his own production company, HaZimation, with producer Paula Crickard in 2017. Since then they have been producing animated feature films, series and video games. You can play their Fortnite games via: https://www.fortnite.com/@hazimation?lang=en-US
    HaZ is also a content creator / influencer via his YouTube Channel: BEYOND THE PIXELs, which bridges gaming, technology and creative inspiration.

  • Amy Elliot - Gameplay programmer at Sumo Digital. Amy specializes in gameplay programming and is currently working on Stampede Racing Royale, a 60-player racing game that blends elements of Mario Kart and Fall Guys. Her role involves developing new features and fixing bugs, ensuring that no two workdays are the same. She collaborates closely with artists and designers, working across disciplines to bring the game to life. One of the highlights of her work is sitting with her team to play and test new changes together.
    Beyond her work, Amy works on freelance projects, and personal project, and is committed to inspiring younger and diverse individuals to explore game development, specifically girls in code. She has mentored students, spoken at industry events, and engaged with high schools, colleges, and universities. She has also appeared as a panellist at events such as the Women in Games Expo. 

Join us for a panel discussion with industry professionals, followed by an opportunity for your students to ask questions about working in the sector. Individual students are welcome to register.
