Focus on Radio & Podcasts (on demand)

Aimed at students aged 11-18, our series of online panel discussions brings together industry professionals talking about their job roles, industry, career pathways and top tips, in order to inspire and inform young people about careers in the creative industries.

The panel was chaired by Nicole Alcee who currently runs JAW Management, a talent agency looking after talent within the entertainment industry placing them on various media platforms and pairing them with relevant brands. She has worked within the media industry for over 18 years, including 13 years at the BBC.

Radio and Podcast Lesson Plan

Lesson plan: Focus on Radio and Podcasts

This lesson is designed for secondary students age 11-18. It's designed to be approximately 60 minutes although it can be adapted to suit your timetable. 

Lesson objective:  Students will find out about some of the different career options available in audio and understand some of the ways of getting into the sector.
