Jay Blades is best known as presenter of The Repair Shop and Money for Nothing but it all started with craft. He has his own company, Jay&Co, which sources beautifully crafted, vintage pieces of furniture and then restores or reimagines them into works of contemporary design.
He's an up-cycler and eco-designer who’s passionate about sustainability and the environment, which is the ethos behind all he does.
Jay is also an inspirational motivator and was the former co-founder of award-winning social enterprises Out of The Dark and Street Dreams. Working with disengaged and disadvantaged young people, Jay was able to mentor and support thousands of individuals over the years to realise their full potential.
As for TV - he has appeared on Would I Lie To You?, Celebrity Masterchef and Richard Osman's House of Games.
