Summary

Natalie Armitage, clay school programme manager, talks about her work at British Ceramics Biennial (BCB),  which holds exhibitions and events on contemporary ceramics. She is joined by Emma Price, potter and freelance artist. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, the charity embraces the heritage of the Potteries as the home of British ceramics at the same time as celebrating the craftspeople of today.

Ice-breaker questions

  • How did Emma get into working with BCB?
  • What are the names of two of the BCB teaching projects?
  • Did the subjects that Natalie liked at school have a big impact on her career choices?
