About the events:
Monday 2nd March, 11.15am (40 mins)
Think Creatively
This session will kick off with a practicing creative sharing insight into their own role and real‑world experience of earning from their skills. Participants will then explore three realistic creative industry career and workforce scenarios such as finding paid opportunities, juggling priorities and freelance projects and avoiding burnout. Through guided conversation and Q&As, the aim is for everyone to leave with a clearer sense of how creatives make money in different ways and a simple, personal action they can take towards their own creative career. Creative Collab
Join a fun, hands‑on session where you’ll work in teams to come up with creative ideas and plan how to make them real. A creative professional will drop in to share quick tips and feedback. It’s a great way to use your imagination, work together, and see what creative careers are really like! Find out more
Wednesday 4th March, 11.15am (60 mins)
Lightning Networking
This fast-paced Zoom session connects young people with 6–7 creative professionals from different sectors who have just 5 minutes to give a whistlestop tour of their role. The workshop focuses on themes such as getting started, building confidence, overcoming challenges, and exploring creative dreams and worries. Find out more

Sell Your Art, Not Your Soul
Hate the idea of networking? Same. This fast-paced, interactive online workshop is led by a creative professional working in marketing and PR and is designed for anyone aged 16+ who wants their ideas or creative work to be noticed — without feeling awkward or fake. You’ll learn how opportunities actually happen in creative industries, pick up simple marketing tips you can use straight away, and take part in live chat activities that help you confidently talk about who you are and what you care about.
