This free eLearning module provides information about the creative industries for careers advisors and those who deliver careers advice in schools, further education colleges and other educational settings.
As well as dispelling some common misconceptions that students and their parents may have about this sector; the module will provide you with a good basic understanding of the creative industries so you can confidently advise and guide them into careers that align with their interests and skillsets.
We hope the module enables you to inform students and give them the best chance of working in the creative industries; with guidance on subject choices, practical skills and personal attributes.
Please note, the training module is hosted on the ScreenSkills website and you will need to create a profile to access it. Some registration questions are specific to the screen sector, but the training module covers all creative industries. Please state whether you are a teacher or careers advisor in the job title box and select any screen sector from the list.
