The Power of Events’ Schools Engagement Programme brings the vibrant world of the UK events industry directly into classrooms across all four nations. Through in-person and online sessions, our trained ambassadors — who work across live music, festivals, corporate events, sports, and production — share inspiring stories from behind the scenes of world-renowned events such as the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Glastonbury, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and TRNSMT. Students discover the huge range of creative and technical roles available — from lighting, sound, and staging to event design, logistics, and marketing. Each session is interactive, insightful, and designed to spark curiosity about how skills developed in school can lead to exciting, fulfilling careers within the UK’s thriving events and creative industries. This free and flexible programme is open to all secondary schools across England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. It supports educators in connecting students with real-world career inspiration and aligns with key national frameworks — including Gatsby Benchmarks, EqualX, PAL compliance (England) and Developing the Young Workforce (Scotland) — helping schools meet their career education objectives while showcasing the breadth of opportunity in the UK Events Industry.Contact the company about this opportunity
