About the opportunity

The Power of Events’ Schools Engagement Programme brings the vibrant world of the Scottish events industry directly into classrooms. Through in-person and online sessions, our trained ambassadors — who work across live music, festivals, corporate events, and production — share inspiring stories from behind the scenes of world-renowned Scottish events like the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and TRNSMT. Students will discover the huge range of creative and technical roles available, from lighting and sound to event design, logistics, and marketing. Each session is interactive, insightful, and designed to spark curiosity about how skills developed in school can lead to exciting, fulfilling careers in Scotland’s thriving events and creative industries. This free and flexible programme is open to all schools and supports educators in connecting students with real-world career inspiration.
