About the opportunity

This session supports teachers KS3-KS5 wanting to enhance their creative curriculum with insight into ‘real world’ process.  Explore behind the scenes of the Royal Ballet & Opera High House Production Park, and find out how we create the world-class opera and ballet seen on our stages. Led by one of our knowledgeable guides, pupils will see the giant paint frame, the wood and metal workshops, and explore how we take a Designer’s ideas from first drawings to 3D builds on stage. Plus a chance to Q&A with our staff. Through Q&A with a professionals learn techniques for teaching about the design process, engineering, structures and mechanisms behind the scenes of productions at the Royal Ballet & Opera.
