About the opportunity

Available to 5 schools in Gwynedd and Surrounding Authorities. Each school will be given 3 workshops with each workshop facilitating 30 young people. Available through the medium of Welsh and English. In this programme, brought to you by M-Sparc, the intention is to give Young People the experience of a career in the Film and TV Special Effects (SFX) sector, which due £1.4 billion annual turnover means that there is a major need for SFX/VFX services. Delivered by M-Sparc’s Skills and Outreach team, the interactive workshop will allow the young people to learn about the various pathways available to get into a career in SFX as well as being given a hands-on experience that will test their skills and creativity and allow us to begin to prepare the next generation to further develop this industry.
