About the opportunity

This event is part of the Discover! Creative Careers Month virtual programme, delivered by Futures for All through their Speakers for Schools strand.

Thursday 27th November, 2-3pm

English Heritage is a charity that looks after bridges and bronzes, gardens and gargoyles to stone circles, secret bunkers and everything in between.

Richard Dewdney, Head of Operations at Stonehenge will give you an inside look into how you manage a UNESCO World Heritage site and talk about how he worked his way up through the organisation. As well as running a large visitor operation day-to-day, Richard plays a key role in organising Stonehenge’s largest and most famous event of the year, the summer solstice, which had 25,000 visitors in 2025.
