About the opportunity

Join us for a careers afternoon to get first‑hand feedback about what a career in animation really looks like! With careers talks and creative workshops delivered by working professionals.

What to expect:

Storyboarding workshop — a fun, creative 1 hour hands‑on session - Informal break for questions and chatting with pros

Presentations: 1  hour of short (10‑minute) talks from industry professionals showcasing the different roles and behind‑the‑scenes opportunities in animation. 

Why you should come:

  • Get an inside look at real studios and what working in animation entails
  • Try your hand at storyboarding and explore creativity in action 
  • Meet a variety of animation professionals — learn what they do and how they got there - Explore creative career paths in a lively, welcoming environment
  • Schools can send 1 or 2 classes (max 60 pupils). 

 

The session will take place at Codebase, Stirling. If travel is a barrier, Discover! Creative Careers Scotland may be able to help — just email discoverscotland@intofilm.org to ask about travel bursaries for school coaches.
