Can you spare an hour to inspire local school children?
Delivered by Education and Employers, Inspiring the Future gives every young person in state education the opportunity to be inspired and motivated by real people doing interesting jobs, opening their eyes to a future of possibilities.
Research shows that by six years old, children have already started to form opinions about what they can - or can't - be in the future. They are influenced by what they see around them and gender, ethnicity, and social background can play a big part in this.
You can help change this! By going into local schools and chatting about the job you love and your route into it, you can spark a young person's imagination about their future.
Inspiring the Future makes it easy to connect schools with industry volunteers through their national online match making platform.
It's free to register, simply tell them about yourself and your job, then local schools will invite you to speak to their students.

About Education and Employers
Education and Employers are an educational charity established in 2009 which enables employers and schools to connect directly so that:
- Every young person has the chance to meet people from the world of work who can inspire and motivate, helping them realise their full potential
- Employers can engage with their communities both locally and nationally and it is really easy for staff to volunteer in different ways in schools and with young people
They offer a huge range of ways to work together, find out more on their website or download their employer booklet.
