Join Backstage Builders CIC for an interactive behind-the-scenes look at how sets, scenery and props help bring stories to life across theatre, film and television. You’ll explore creative careers including prop making, scenic art, set design, model making and scenic construction. You’ll discover what these roles involve, how an idea develops into a physical object and the different routes you can take into the creative industries.
You don’t need to be an artist or performer to work in the creative industries. If you enjoy making, designing, building, problem-solving or bringing ideas to life, there could be a backstage career for you.
