The day is divided into three themed sessions:
- What are the Creative Industries?, an introduction to the breadth of creative careers and the skills and pathways behind them.
- ‘WOW!’ – Careers in Live Events, exploring the people and jobs behind some of the world’s biggest events.
- A Sound and Lighting Experience, offering a behind-the-scenes look at technical careers in live music and events.
Each session includes a talk and Q&A in our Lantern Hall, followed by 30-45 minutes to explore the exhibitor area in Bridgehouse. Meet industry professionals from local creative and event companies, colleges, youth organisations and careers services, and discover more about training, further education and early career opportunities.
Our confirmed exhibitors are Enlightened, BIMM, Boomsatsumer, Youth Music, Bristol Old vic and Bristol Creative Industries to name a few with talks from Glastonbury, Boomtown, Love Productions and Hey! What? Covering a wide range of topics.
The day will be filmed as a resource after the event and accompanied by an interactive resource book full of career information, links and interviews.
Whether you’re curious about what a creative career could look like or already have an idea of where you want to go, the day offers practical insights, hands-on experiences and inspiration for your next steps.
