One of our trusted partners over the past few years has been Speakers for Schools. Their aim is to close the opportunity gap and level the playing field for all 11-19-year-olds from state schools and colleges by providing fair access to fully funded work experience and inspirational talks that will help them to reach their full career potential. Speakers for Schools is a vital part of our programme; they are committed to champion social mobility and improve diversity in the workplace.
A critical element of the Discover! Creative Careers programme delivery for 2025-2026 will focus on a virtual programme of talks for Discover! Creative Careers Month in November. Speakers for Schools will once again be leading on this, helping to open up access to meaningful virtual encounters for young people who for whatever reason cannot get to an in-person event.

Nick Brook Chief Executive Officer for Speakers for Schools said “Speakers for Schools is thrilled to partner with ScreenSkills and the Discover! Creative Careers programme for a third year throughout November, inspiring thousands of young people across England and creating new connections to the Creative Industries. We will be hosting a range of inspiring online talks across the subsectors in the creative industries and building on some of the events we have run in previous years which have featured employers including AHR Architects, Factory International, Sky Studios and Leeds Museums and Galleries. This year’s Discover! Creative Careers Month is set to reach even more young people and we’re proud to be part of that”
The virtual programme of inspirational talks across November with Speakers for Schools will be launched in September 2025 – to be the first to hear sign up at discovercreative.careers on the bottom of our homepage
