Dr Martens

Curriculum subjects

Art and design

Summary

Training and apprentice supervisor Madeleine Sessions and apprentices Molly Kennings and Victoria Spender work at the Dr Martens made in England factory in Northhampton. They all have very different routes that led them to work for the famous brand. Here they share why university wasn't necessarily the answer for them and how apprenticeships work.

Ice-breaker questions

  • Why did Madeleine wish she knew about the apprenticeships before she went to uni?
  • How did Molly use her previous experience from a dentist apprenticeship in her job at Dr Martens?
  • How did the three find out about the apprenticeships?
