There has never been a better time to choose a career in the music industry, it creates over 140k full time jobs in hundreds of different roles and is growing all the time. For every artist you see on stage, there are hundreds of people behind the scenes  - from tour managers, technicians, engineers, promoters, lawyers and many more. 

Delivered in collaboration with UK Music, this event featured a video games composer, a music producer and a business leader, all working in their dream jobs across the music sector. They shared insight into the types of roles that underpin this globally renowned sector and understand how people get into them, with advice on vocational pathways including internships.

Hosted and chaired by Dr Oliver Morris, Director of Education & Skills UK Music, the discussion featured the following panellists:
