You can make a big difference to your industry and your region by becoming an enterprise adviser
help schools and colleges develop their careers programmes.
The Careers and Enterprise Company is the national network set up to inspire and prepare young people for the fast-changing world of work. It connects schools and colleges, employers and careers programme providers to create high-impact careers opportunities for young people across England.
One way it does that is by appointing enterprise advisers, who are volunteers from industry. They work directly with a school or college's senior leadership team to create a careers programme that is relevant and accurate.
You’ll be supported by a trained, full-time enterprise coordinator and provided with a range of practical resources to help you in your role. You will also benefit from peer support from other volunteers and will further broaden your network of contacts.
Combine your passion for raising the aspirations of young people with your strategic skills to help put opportunities with local employers at the heart of a young person's education.
